YieldPoint Inc. operates several Android applications called PullTest, BluPoint and GatePoint. These apps are available on the Google Store. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal and sensitive Information we receive from users of the Apps.
Log Data
Like many Apps, BluPoint collects data from geotechnical instruments deployed at your site, via Bluetooth communication with your Android device.
The data collected will not be available to YieldPoint as the App is not designed to allow YieldPoint to access any of the collected data.
The geotechnical instrument data collected is stored locally and only uploaded by a User to their chosen Server.
Information Collection And Use
While using our App you are never asked to provide us with any personally identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify you.
While using our App you are never asked to collect data about User’s location.
While using our App you are never asked to collect device details.
In addition, we do not use third party services such as Google Analytics from within our Apps.
Communications
We do not gather or use your Personal Information to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials.
We do not use “cookies” to collect information. You are able to use all functions of our website and apps without restrictions.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
