d-TILT are fully waterproof in-place tilt sensor incorporating YieldPoint d-tech digital sensor technology. Each instrument incorporates a microcontroller that provides high accuracy and resolution. The output signal is an RS485 serial (9600,8,N,1) ASCII encoded data-stream that includes a unique sensor ID for each instrument.

The range is typically +/- 5 arcdeg with 0.001arcdeg resolution so that the d-TILT (EL) is suitable for high precision applications such as bridges, dams, monitoring wedge stability is underground excavations, and monitoring pit slopes. The on-board temperature sensors provides full compensation.
